Stride is an accurate, simple pedometer for no-hassle step counting and distance measuring. Its first launch was highly rated since it first hit the App Store scene just after the iPhone 3G launch. We find that Stride works best when attached to the hip with a belt clip or belt pouch like most physical pedometers, but several of our customers have told us it works rather well in their pockets as well. The number of steps and the distance walked will be saved should the application inadvertently exit, or if you would like to take a break from walking or running. Stride calculates the estimated distance you have run or walked via your step length, the distance your foot moves forward in one step. The on/off slider at the top toggles the step counter on or off and is easily accessible from the belt. Stride is a proven and stable solution for those who just want to count steps!
